Michele is the lead instructor for the hands-on table massage program in the Alaska Institute of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. She loves teaching and sharing the healing arts not just as for a vocation ,but as way for people to embark on their own healing journey for personal growth,self cultivation, and to fulfill their life’s vision. Her goal is to assist people in empowering themselves to take charge of their own health and well being, and Illuminating the Spirit of the their own true-self and purpose.

Michele has been studying the Eastern Healing Arts for over 15 years and started her personal private practice as a massage therapist in 2003. Michele’s main inspiration and teachings have come from her spiritual teacher, Tao Shih Pei Wo Lun at the Oriental Healing Arts Center. She has also studied at the Olympic Sports Hospital in Bejing, China.

She is certified in Thai Massage, Tuina Chinese Medical Acupressure Massage, Taoist Herbology, Medical Qigong Energy Work. She practices and has taught classes in Meditation, Taichi, Qigong, and Yoga. She incorporates these into her sessions, creating a unique healing session based on the individual needs of her clients. Working with clients who have shoulder pain, back pain, and headaches are her expertise.

Michele is also the director of the Thai Yoga Massage program at the Alaska Institute. She traveled to Thailand in 1999 absorbing various styles of Thai massage from the local villages. Michele is full of knowledge, fun and experience when it comes to Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage. She enjoys teaching clients and workshops that include Yoga positions for common aliments and two person yoga.
